Section 15 gives Data Principals a few duties: comply with all applicable laws; not impersonate another person when giving data; not suppress material information when providing data for official identity documents; not file false or frivolous complaints; and give only verifiably authentic information when exercising the right to correction or erasure. Breach can attract a penalty of up to Rs 10,000.
